10 months already!

She is 10 months old already.  She is such a great baby.  She now has 5 teeth, her fifth broke through yesterday.  It isn't very big yet, but it is there.  Number 6 isn't far behind.  She weighs 19 lbs and is in size 3 diapers.  She is still nursing.  She is fascinated with my hair.  She plays with my hair while she eats and can't fall asleep without it.  She is like a baby monkey clutching it.  She loves to eat my hair and makes it a yucky mess every day.  Very strange obsession!  She has a cold and isn't feeling very well.  It is a good thing we took these pictures early this morning when she was in a good mood!

 She can balance standing up for quite a while.  She hasn't taken any steps yet.

Nellie 6 month Prof Pics

I realized as I was posting Nellie's 9 month pictures that I never posted her 6 month pictures.  So I loaded them all on the computer and cropped them for you all to see!  She has changed so much in just 3 short months. 

Nellie's 9 month Prof pictures

Nellie had her pictures taken on Oct 13, her 9 month Birthday.  She is a funny girl.  She is very stoic and not much of a smiler without a lot of prompting!  Her pictures will tell all!

It turns out that Helena actually weighs more.  We went back to the doctor this week for various things and they weighed Helena.  This week she weighs 25 lbs.  So either she gained 6 lbs in 2 weeks or they made a mistake last time.  Nellie was 19 lbs 10.5 oz and Helena was 25.35 lbs.  It wont be too long.. but not quite yet!

Nellie had her 9 month check up.  She is doing really well.  She weighs 18.6 lbs and is 27 3/4 inches tall.  She has now cut through her top two teeth.  She had her first dentist appointment on Wednesday.  It was pretty cute. I guess I should have taken a picture of her in the chair.   I have never had a dentist want to see the babies so young, but she thought it was great fun.  He looked at her teeth (she has huge teeth like James) and her mouth.  She is going to need to have her Fronectomy like the other kids when she is older. 
  While we are the doctors appointment Helena wanted to do everything that Sophia and Nellie were doing.  Sophia had a checkup at the same time as Nellie.   Helena begged to have the nurse take her vitals and have the doctor listen to her heart.  While they were weighing the kids Helena had to have her turn.  It turns out Helena weighs 18.9 lbs with her clothes on. Nellie was weighed naked so she has passed up our itty-bitty Helena.  We knew it wouldn't be long... but I thought it would take a bit longer.  I wonder how long it will take for Nellie to be taller than Helena?

9 Months... SO BIG!

 Nellie is now 9 months old.  I don't know her stats yet, her Doctors Appointment is on Thursday.  I will post them when I get them.  She is so close to getting her top two teeth in.  It is all white and ready to break through, just nothing yet!  They are monster teeth, true to Packer kid form!

 We have to be quick to take the pictures.  Nellie is a fast crawler and doesn't like to sit in the same spot for long, unless she is being fed!  She loves to eat Cheerios and baby puffs on her own.  She is eating baby stage 2 foods.  We tried 3's but she spits out all the chucks.  We are sticking with 2's for a bit longer.  

 Nellie is a very calm fun baby.  She is starting to be a bit more clingy.  But she is very content most of the time.  She gets very excited to see her sisters.  She likes the boys in very small doses.  She is fascinated by Cinnamon, our dog.  She loves to climb up on Cinnamon and lay on her, sometimes Cinnamon agrees and lets her, other times she gets up and walks away leaving Nellie behind.

She can stand up, if she holds on.  She has been caught a few times with no hands, but for the most part she holds on.  She is getting so big.  I know this picture isn't in focus all of the way, but it was so cute I couldn't resist.  She looks very much like I did as a baby in this picture!  She is my baby Nellie!
She wears 12 month clothes, size 3 diapers, and is still nursing.  I don't know what size shoes she would be, I am not a shoes for babies kind of girl. 
 I had her pictures taken on Saturday for her 9 months. I will post them when I get them~!

Nellie 8 Months!

Nellie just turned 8 months... she is getting big so fast!  She is now crawling!  I am not ready for her to be mobile.. but she is everywhere!  She is doing so well.  She loves to eat her baby food.  She loves almost everything, peaches are not her favorite but she will eat them.   She is getting more hair.  I think it is going to be kind of an auburn color.  It is dark but in the light has a lot of red to it.  Not the flaming red I was hoping for, but it has red in it for sure!

 Nellie wanted to crawl away from the pictures.  Every time I would put her by the moose to take her picture she was up and ready to go.  I had to be pretty fast to catch any pictures of her!

 Nellie makes lots of different faces.  She loves to such her mouth in.  She plays with her tongue all of the time.  She is a pretty serious baby.  She cracks me up!

She can also smile very big to show off her 2 teeth!  Her top teeth look like they will be coming in pretty soon. 

She has learned to sleep through the night! She is doing pretty well.  She is taking 2 naps a day and is pretty close to being on a schedule.  Her first nap is around 10:30 then the second is usually because she has fallen asleep in her car seat running the kids somewhere.  She spends a lot of time in her car seat but is a pretty happy baby most of the time!

We really love our Nellie!
