Those who came to see her

Nellie had lots of people who wanted to see her. She is one very loved little girl!

Papa and Mimi couldn't wait to see Nellie. They were the first to come and see her. Papa wasn't feeling well and didn't think it was a good idea for him to hold Nellie, so Mimi got all the honors!

Ashley came out with Papa so she was able to see the baby.

Colton was very brave. He wasn't sure he wanted to hold her but he did a great job!

Sarah was so good to wait her turn.... even though we know she wanted to be first.

Gabe came too.. although I don't know if he held the baby.

Helena kept jumping in for her turn to hold the baby. She loves baby Nellie!!!

Grandma Robison and Grandpa Eric came to the hospital and had a turn to hold her as well but somehow I don't have pictures of that.

Meeting Nellie

On Saturday (Jan 14) Sterling brought the other kids to meet their sister. They were all pretty excited to see and hold her.

This was taken before Sophia had her hair fixed. She couldn't wait to hold the baby. Daddy got the kids to the hospital but he hasn't mastered doing little girls hair yet!

Sterling didn't get much of a chance to hold the baby on his own!

Helena is a bit rough with the baby. I am afraid this duo is going to be my biggest challenge!

James did really well with the baby. He seemed pretty interested, at least for a little while!

Daniel is a goof ball, always ready to be silly,

Sophia is always ready to pose for a picture,

James never wants to be in the picture and tends to make them all gloomy,

Helena always wants to be held and loves her daddy!

Daniel likes baby Nellie in small doses. He doesn't want too much to do with her.

Sophia and Helena love the baby, but are a bit too much help!

The biggest trick is holding Helena and her hands so she can't hurt the baby!

This picture of me was taken on Jan 5th... She looked like such a big baby!!!

Nellie Elizabeth was born January 13, 2012.
She was born at 1:36 pm, 7 lbs 13 ounces, 19 1/2 inches long, her head was 36 cm.
We are really excited to have her here!



The nurse gave Nellie her first bath. Sterling jumped in long enough to say he "helped" but really the nurse did it. Sterling was a little worried about breaking such a little baby!

At last, my sweet baby is here!
