Nellie is 6 months old.  We are moving from Utah to Kansas so we are living in a hotel.  I can't upload any pictures because my computer is in transit, but I wanted to write about all the things Nellie can do.
 She is doing so well.  She is 6 months old, can sit up by herself for long periods of time.  She can't roll over yet or sit herself up, but if put in the sitting position she can stay there for quite a while.  She is such a happy baby.  She loves her brothers and sisters and they love her.  Helena loves to lay on Nellie, which Nellie likes most of the time.  Nellie loves to put everything in her mouth.  She is very good with her hands and grabbing things.  She has a very tight grip and doesn't let go.  She is a talker, she loves to make noise and let everyone know she is there.   
She had her first food, a little by accident.  We have been waiting to give her rice or baby food until we got into our house, (so we have her high chair and a place to put her)  but Helena was done with her Pop-Tart and gave it to Nellie.  Nellie quickly began sucking on it and really seemed to enjoy her brown sugar pop tart.
Nellie still loves her binkie.. it helps her be happy when she is getting fussy.  She is happy most of the time, the only things that seem to bother her is when she is cold, when she is hungry, or if she has a messy diaper.  Other than that, she is a happy smiley girl.  She loves the bath tub and loves to kick her legs and splash.  She is a really great baby.  She is the perfect baby for our family, easy going and fun to be with!  We really love our Nellie!
